Crisis Resources
Suicide is the second leading cause of death for adolescents and young adults 15-24 years old. According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, nearly 20% of high school students and 11% of college students reported having thoughts of suicide. If you or someone you know is having suicidal thoughts, help is available. The two crisis lines below are available 24/7 to provide support during a crisis or distress.

Resources for the Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) Community
Adolescents and young adults who are Black, Indigenous, or People of Color experience unique mental health challenges due to systemic marginalization and oppression, and may have difficulty finding culturally informed providers. If you or someone you know is looking for mental health resources, here are a few places to start.

National Queer & Trans Therapists of Color Network
The National Queer & Trans Therapists of Color Network provides resources for finding BIPOC clinicians.
Asian Mental Health Collective
The Asian Mental Health Collective provides resources for finding Asian counselors.

Resources for Specific Diagnoses or Concerns
While you may be able to find a generalist provider, it can be hard to know where and how to find a specialist for specific diagnoses or concerns. The resources provided below are good places to start to find specialized care.
